While my schedule is cramped already, I still find time to volunteer and an editor and event coordinator for nycgameindustry.com. Obtaining this position has been the best decision I have made yet to get my foot in the door. I have met a plethora of industry veterans (some of which I consider to be legends) alongside fresh faces looking to get their foot in the door as well.
Apart from that, the other driving factor for creating a sound network within the industry has been my membership to the IGDA (International Game Developers Association). Without this organization I would be lost. If I can offer one piece of advice to people who are new to the industry it is this, get a membership and join your local chapter. If you don't have a local chapter, create one. I am sure there are other individuals just waiting for this chapter to be created.

I currently live in Flushing, NY with my beautiful wife Vanessa. I have always had the dream of living, working and going to school in the city. Now that dream has come true. While juggling a full time job and a full time school schedule, time is tight.
There are many sleepless night in which I spend studying or researching the industry but mostly most of them are swimming in code. If you don't make time, you will never have it.

Born in Bergen County New Jersey and raised in Ocean County New Jersey, I am well versed in the terrain of The Garden State. From the beaches of LBI and Seaside Park, to the mountains of Vernon and Ringwood, I have had the ample opportunities to enjoy all NJ has to offer.
